Delicious Crunchy Kinpira Burdock

Ingredients (2~3 servings)

dried burdock root and carrot 40g
soy sauce 2 tablespoons
mirin
sake 1 tablespoon
sugar 1.5 tablespoons
sesame oil a little
sesame a little

how to make

  1. Soak the dried burdock root and carrot in boiling water for approximately 10 minutes

  2. Add sesame oil to a hot frying pan, add the well-drained burdock and carrots and fry.

  3. When the liquid is gone, add soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar, and simmer until the liquid is gone.You`re done! If you like, sprinkle with sesame seeds to add an extra dash of flavor.
