Where are your vegetables grown?
We only use vegetables grown in Japan. Starting with our own farms in Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures, our products are mainly from Kyushu. For more details, please visit the List of Products page.Q
Are food additives used?
Our products do not contain any artificial additives or chemicals except for glucose. However, the green onions, onions, some carrots and burdock products do not include glucose. If you have any questions, please contact us by phone or email.Q
Can I put them in the refrigerator or freezer?
Kira Foods products can be frozen or kept in the refrigerator, but it is not necessary for safe storage. Products can be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight.Q
How to save after opening?
After opening, consume the product as quickly as possible. In the case of leftovers, seal properly and try to make it as air-tight as possible. Store at room temperatureQ

Where can I purchase Kira Foods Products?
Kira Foods products can be purchased online at Rakuten Ichiba or Yahoo Shopping. In addition, you can call us directly at 096-293-8778 and we will ship anywhere in Japan. There is free shipping for purchases over 10,000Y.Q
How much will the product volume increase when rehydrated?
Our products will generally expand 5-7 times in volume when rehydrated, depending on the product. Like fresh vegetables, they will be chewy and crunchy.Q
Can I use a product directly in my cooking without rehydrating it?
Kira Foods products can be added to soups, miso soup and braised dishes directly. If you do not like the sweet flavor of glucose, we would recommend rehydrating our products separately first. The leftover water from rehydration makes an excellent vegetable stock.Q
Can I place an order by phone or fax?
Yes, you can order our products directly by phone at 096-293-8778 and fax.Q
Once I place my order, how long will it take to ship?
Shipping is not available when our factory is closed. If you wish to receive your order at the beginning of the week, please be sure to check our business hours of operation. The fastest available shipping is within 3 days. Pay by: Credit Card *if there is no problem with the card it will not be audited. Pay on delivery: Please pay directly to the delivery driver upon receipt of your order. Orders under 10,000Y will be charged a 330Y delivery charge.Q
What is the cost of shipping?
All orders over 10,000Y have free shipping. Please see the price chart on the User Guide page for pricing on orders under 10,000Y.Q
What payment methods are available?
You may pay via credit card, one-time payment only, or pay on delivery.Q
In the case of a credit card payment, can you send me the details?
We do not issue electronic receipts or details. Please check the receipt issued by your credit card company.Q
When will by credit card be debited?
It depends on the credit card company. Please check with the credit card issuer for this information.Q
Will I be charged a transaction fee when making a payment?
There are no transaction fees on credit card purchases. However, in the case of pay on delivery, purchases under 10,000Y will incur a service fee of Y315Y.Q
Is it possible to return a product?
We accept returns within 3 days of delivery of products to the customer. Products must be unopened and unused. If Kira Foods is at vault for damage or an issue with the product, we will pay for return shipping. If a customer is returning product for their own reasons, they will incur the shipping charge.Q
How are refunds issued?
We will refund to your designated account within 3 days of receiving your returned product. *In the case of products returned for the customers own reason, the price of shipping will be deducted from the refund.Q

I placed an order, but have not received a confirmation email
We usually send out a confirmation email to customers within 3 business days of upon receipt of an order. However, if you have not heard from us, either we have either not received your order or our confirmation email has been lost in transit. Please check your junk mail folder, as it may have been directed there. If you still cannot find our confirmation email, please call us at 096-293-8778 to confirm the status of your order.
